Preparing this house for sale, there are several rips in the old wallpaper. We paste-glued the wallpaper...painted the base color (off white) and then started adding the Green paint for the stripes...
numerous tear marks from normal wear and tear...
I started adding a white tint to the Hunter Green..to lighten it up a bit....
and kept mixing the tints until it was just right!~
now the magic is happening...creating the illusion...
getting ready to 'faux' some more over the many little scratches...
lot's of tears under the windows...and old 'sticky tape' that tore the wallpaper...
The Old-guy hasn't lost his touch...
the white is done...now the green stripes get 'faux'...
