These vents have been around for years...but no one likes to put them on. They do NOT go on the top of the roof...they go just 'below the top of the roof'....or anywhere that you need 'instant relief' from attic heat...which means they are out of the wind....and less suspect to damage or have rain blow in............they come in 4', 6',and 8' lengths.........

The home owner requested that we place this vent directly above his Master Bedroom to relieve the heat problem immediately. When we cut thru the roof, an immediate blast of furnace-hot air came out of the roof, thus relieving the pressure.....and allowing the A/C to do its job...Notice, we didn't want to get too close to the Chimney...don't want a water run-off problem...

this is how it looks after installation...

during the install...we went the xtra mile...and applied the Peel n Seal over all the flanges prior to weaving the shingles....and sealing the shingles.......REMEMBER, I SAID 'SEALING THE SHINGLES'. That's the biggest downfall of wanna-be roofers....they fail to seal the shingles down with a Tripolymer after lifting and reinstalling. That's why you see them flapping in the breeze a year later........Once they lose the factory seal, it's gone forever..........."WHY" don't the wanna-be roofers seal them, because it's $4.00 per tube for the good stuff.........

finished product.......the A/C breathed a sigh of relief...Power bills went down.........win-win
